I’m ready for spring—ready to go hiking, to play tennis, to attend outdoor concerts and spend my mornings writing in the sunshine. I’m planning to grow geraniums and basil, among other things, in the small container garden on my balcony. I’m ready for fresh air, green leaves, and summer thunderstorms, ready for bare feet and iced tea and trips to the farmers market.
What about you? Are you looking forward to spring? What’s your favorite part of the season?
Lastly, a Sunday ROW80 check-in…

Lots of goals accomplished Denise. Wishing you a great week ahead!
Thanks, Bev! Have a wonderful week. 🙂
Great progress this week, Denise! I’m a journaler too and know many people who’ve done morning pages and found it useful. I’m curious: do you find it helps with your creativity, or do you do them for other reasons?
Thanks, Sione. Morning pages definitely help with my creativity. They help me map out my day and offer an outlet for all those thoughts that can distract me while I’m writing. They’re an important part of my creative process.
Geraniums are one of my favorite flowers Denise! And I love fresh basil. Yet, in the meantime, look at you go! You’ve made some great goals. In winter no less! Again, you’re quite an inspiration. Awesome! 🙂
Mine, too, Karen. I’m debating between pink and red geraniums this year. Decisions, decisions. Thanks! It’s going to be a busy year, but hopefully a productive one. 🙂
You seem to be making good strides, Denise. I am looking forward to Spring, too. I am looking forward to get some walking done so I can lose some unwanted weight. And with the warmer weather, maybe I can also do some writing outside.
I love to go hiking, so being stuck indoors in the winter months can be frustrating. We’ve actually had some warmer days where I was able to get out and take longer walks or do a bit of hiking. But I’m definitely ready for the snow to melt and the flowers to bloom. Can’t wait to see my first daffodil of the season! I also love writing outside, so I’m looking forward to that, too.
Looking forward to autumn here, actually, but I know what you mean! Sounds like you’re making great progress with your goals.
Autumn is fantastic, too. I love the colors. Thanks, Marina!
